Following the release of single “What You Gon Do?”, Tameka “Tiny” Harris stopped by The Breakfast Club for a chat with DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God and Angela Yee.
The former Xscape songstress spoke on her latest musical offering and video, whether or not she’s making a return to music with a new album, working in reality TV with hubby T.I., how the Kang swept her off her feet, Azealia Banks beef and much more.
Here are 9 things we learned from Tiny’s interview at The Breakfast Club. Our favorite was her first encounter with the late Notorious B.I.G. Quite the knee-slapper if you ask us.

Number 1
Tiny’s “What You Gon Do” went No.1 in less than 24 hours. Proof, consumers have say into which godawful direction music goes.
Baller Status
Tiny co-wrote TLC’s “No Scrub,” for which she gets a check every time it’s played. It’s also the project that earned her her first six figures.
Swept Away
Her Husband T.I. swept her off her feet with his Southern charm. By being really “nurturing” and “protective,” which she really “likes.”
Doubts
When asked about her thoughts on industry men being able to remain faithful in a relationship, Tiny didn’t sound so sure. “Ehhhh, I would hope so,” said the former Xscape singer. “I hope for it to be possible.”
Ride Or Die
On being dubbed the quintessential ride or die chick: “I was sitting back in the cut and helping him, letting him do his thing, ” she said. “I felt that was a part of riding with him because that’s what he needed at the time. And then there’s all the jail sentences. You Know? I’m down. I got to make him feel like a king.”
No Sweat
According to Tiny, her and T.I. live in the real world, so they don’t feel the pressure of being under the limelight and exposing their day to day routines. “What you see is what you get,” she said, adding that half of what the public hears is just rumors anyway.
Biggie’s Sorry
Way back when, Biggie made a comment about banging Ru Paul before touching any of the Xscape members. After one of their shows, Biggie asked to speak to them, none of whom wanted to hear what he had to say. Tiny eventually gave into the conversation, where the late rapper personally apologized for his comments since he was “ugly too.”
New Album
Eh, not so much. Even with the success of her latest single, Tiny says she was just having fun and is not looking to put in the work it takes to successfully put out a full studio LP.
Azealia who?
When the “Mediocre” topic was brought up, Tiny quickly set the record straight. “Who is she? She’s not looking like anything,” referring to the bottom of her shoe as more aesthetically pleasing than the Harlem rapper.
