Ja Rule is a man on a mission right now as he promotes his new autobiography, Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Becoming a ManOf course he stopped by The Breakfast Club to discuss the new book and more.

After serving prison time for a gun charge that was ironically tied to Lil Wayne‘s weapons charges in New York City, it seems Ja has been on a path to rebuild his name and brand. While the shadow of 50 Cent still follows the Queens native, he is making it clear he is moving on.

DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God conducted a stellar interview that lasted almost an hour. Topics included the G-Unit wars, Kanye West, Lyor Cohen and much more.

So we present the top 11 things we learned from The Breakfast Club Ja Rule interview. Hearing his take on Superhead was interesting given what she wrote about him in her book. Let us know what’s your favorite moment in the comment section.

Fif’

Ja, like us, is tired of talking about 50. He is not trying to rehash the beef but needed to tell his life story which includes the beef.

The Book

While the book speaks on a lot Rap related incidents, it is not a tell all therefore Ja did not speak on all things he has seen in his 15 year plus career.

Cadillac Tah

Ja stepped to Prodigy about what he wrote in his book about Cadillac Tah setting Rule and Irv to get robbed. The two talked it out and made peace. Ja doesn’t believe Tah would have done that anyway.

The Unit

Surprisingly Ja thinks the G-Unit reunion is good for Hip-Hop.

Karrine

Ja denies having sex with Karrine but admitted that Murder Inc. prostituted her. They would fly her to conventions and offer her services to DJs for increased spins.

Virginity

Ja also admitted to loosing his virginity in a project hallway on top of a cardboard to a heavy girl.

Lyor

Ja doesn’t think Lyor is a culture vulture but does think he made Jay Z, DMX and him all much more competitive.

Can I Get A…

Years later Ja does not regret giving the “Can I Get A…” to Jay Z. He admitted the record help him build a huge buzz going into his debut album.

$

Ja Rule was able to keep his family comfortable while he was away. He attributes it to making better decisions with his money.

The Music

He is in no rush to make music because he wants to get it right. He wants to collaborate with some greats including Prince and Stevie Wonder for the new album.

Day 1’s

Ja Rule said that N.O.R.E., Fat Joe, Benzino and Irv Gotti never changed on him throughout the good and the bad.
