We’re back with your weekly dosage of ill rhymes and stellar beats via The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
Honestly, this wasn’t the best seven day stretch of (official) music releases that we’ve seen, but there were definitely some heaters in the fold. A highpoint during the week came when a Long Beach newcomer debuted his new mixtape. Expect to see at least one track from his project on the list.
Another cut comes from a veteran producer, who released a collaborative album, featuring appearances by Action Bronson and others. And last, but not least, an Indiana MC delivered the diss track fans have awaited for months.
Find it all in the gallery on the following pages. Be sure to give us your thoughts in the comments.

10. Daft Punk ft. Jay Z – “Computerized”
We understand why this cut didn’t make The Robots’ Grammy winning Random Access Memories LP, but it’s still worth a listen.
9. Casey Veggies – “Anything Goes”
Consistency has always been one of Young Veggies’ greatest qualities. Boy did it pay off here.
8. Blu – “The West”
If wordplay is the topic of discussion, few can go toe to toe with this Los Angeles MC.
7. Childish Gambino – “What Kind Of Love”
Donald Glover is always good for a love song, and this freebie track is no different. Hats off to you.
6. Vince Staples – “Trunk Rattle”
If eloquent street emceeing is what you seek, we suggest that you get familiar with this Long Beach lyricist.
5. Skrillex ft. Chance The Rapper – “Coast Is Clear”
This cut is best described as the best of both worlds between renowned DJ and 2013’s rookie of the year’s dynamic musical styles.
4. YG ft. Kendrick Lamar – “Really Be (Smokin N Drinkin)”
The Compton MC isn’t a top notch lyricist, but he know his sound, lane, and how to properly convey his message. That’s why tracks like these work.
3. Freddie Gibbs & Madlib – “Real” (Jeezy Diss)
Gangsta Gibbs forewarned fans about a Jeezy diss record, but who knew it would be this potent?
2. DJ Mustard ft. YG, Jeezy & Que – “Vato”
Mustard delivers yet another heater for the streets. We think this track could have some legs.
1. The Alchemist & Budgie ft. Action Bronson, A$ton Matthews & J.Rocc – “With My Soul”
We’d like to know what The Alchemist and Budgie did before creating this record, because it’s just too soulful.
