In the days leading up to Oxymoron‘s release, ScHoolboy Q is on the a press run to promote the LP. He spoke with Hot 97’s Angie Martinez about his lean addiction, and more importantly, why a collab with 50 Cent didn’t make the album.
Since hitting the scene, Quincy has been very candid about 50’s influence on his artistry. All that considered, one would think that the G-Unit rapper would appear on Oxymoron. Even 50 thought he made it.
“It just didn’t make it,” ScHoolboy explained. When asked why, he replied, “it’s just so many records that I have. I had to pick and choose. And I felt that it didn’t fit as good as the other records that I had.”
Expect the TDE rapper to release he and 50 Cent’s collaborative track one day. Hear ScHoolboy Q speak in the clip below and on the following page.
