The Breakfast Club got a chance to sit down with Peter Gunz to further address all the slander the Internets has been hurling at the dirty foot rapper. One of the rookie stars on Love & Hip Hop New York, listeners had a chance to hear him tell his side of the story once more, and provide more intel that didn’t make it into the Sway In The Morning interview.
The “Deja Vu (Uptown Baby)” rapper apologized for his actions, talked about his multiple baby mothers and recalled how he almost declined being a part of this incredible melodrama that occurs on VH1 every Monday night. In this 20 minute interview, besides covering a range of topics, the Bronx native provides more insight into who he is. Mr. Pankey speaks on being a family man and a consistent provider.
So we present the top 10 things we learned from Peter Gunz’s The Breakfast Club interview. Let us know your favorite struggle moment in the comments section.

The Bronx rapper has a family in New Orleans. That baby mother, a lawyer, is ducking the struggle.
“I have a family in New Orleans man. I have two kids in New Orleans with a beautiful woman. This was a real situation. I was engaged to her, had two kids, two daughters and she’s an attorney. She’s doing very well for herself. We have a good relationship.”
Peter Gunz is a rolling stone.
Peter Gunz has seven kids, with five baby mothers. It’s mathematics.
Gunz married Amina because he was in love. Really.
“Listen, I’m not gonna marry someone I don’t love. I would never get married to a person I didn’t love. Definitely not for no green card. It was out of love.”
Gunz doesn’t wear expensive clothes or balls out anymore. But he swears he pays his bills.
“I’m not well off, I’m not behind in rent. I take care of rent, I take care of my kids, no child support cases.”
Young Money doesn’t hold Cory Gunz back.
” We spent a lot of money on that case [gun charges]. Young Money spent a lot of money on that case…Those dudes hold Cory down. I stand by that.”
Mona Scott-Young’s staging is done accurately and with precision, and sneakily.
“Mona Magic is ‘Today we are doing the showcase, today y’all filming the intro, nobody is going to see this.’ But why do I have Amina and Tara in the same scene at the same time? You assured me that they aren’t supposed to see each other.”
He did regret doing the show, but after speaking to Charlamagne his whole perspective changed.
“The day after, I had regrets… I called Charlamagne and it felt like a funeral…”
He really doesn’t like Erica Mena.
