Halloween used to be a festive time for the rap Internets to release new music with a free pass to slay as many imaginary players as humanly possible. That trend has since lamed out in favor of real Halloween celebrations (good and bad).

That doesn’t mean good music still didn’t make its way to listener’s iPods.

DJ Drama worked overtime this side of Thanksgiving to bring out the “murder music,” as did a few tastemakers in LRG and Space Monkeys.
