5 Reasons Why The Jackson Family Is Bat Sh-t Crazy

The events that have transpired in the Jackson family over the last week are not only embarrassing and sad, but have shown the public what we may not have already known; the late great Michael Jackson was not the crazy one. During the latter half of his life, much of the King of Pop’s energy was focused on his three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket. After his death he left custody to his mother Katherine, who appears to be a pawn in a silly game of greed and craziness.

From Aunt Janet (Ms. Jackson…if you’re nasty) attempting to physically stop Twitter-happy Paris from going into her own house, to transferring their mother to some random facility in Arizona, these Jacksons are relentless in their quest to remain the  most dysfunctional family in America.

What’s worse is that Michael’s kids are stuck in the middle of a financial tug of war. Even though the Jacksons (yes you, Randy) are pretending that the turmoil has nothing to do with money , there’s nearly $1 billion at stake, money of which started pouring in after the pop legend’s death two years ago.

This family has been divided for years, but this latest debacle takes the cake on the “bat sh-t crazy” meter, and below are five reasons why.

Drugging Their Mom

Who does this?! Katherine Jackson is clearly not in her right mind, and it has nothing to do with the fact that she’s 82. Leaving her grandchildren to go to a “resort” in Arizona, was just the tip of the iceberg. Less than 24-hours after she (temporarily?) lost custody of Paris, Prince, and Blanket, the Jackson family matriarch read a statement denying that she had been drugged. Unfortunately, she didn’t bank on the address, which aired on Nightline, making her look like she’d been drugged and/or brainwashed. If her statements of speaking with her other grandchildren before up and leaving were true why did she have to read it from a piece of paper, rather than relying on her own memory?

Contesting Michael Jackson’s Will

You knew this was coming. Now that there is tons of money potentially up for grabs, the Jacksons want to contest the will. Could it be because none of them were left a single red cent? Probably, but let them tell it, they could care less about the money. Yeah, sure.

According to the will, Michael signed his name on July 7, 2002 in Los Angeles. Since he was actually in New York at the time, the family has argued that the will is null and void, however a court ruled that a mistake being made on the location doesn’t take away from validity of the paperwork which clearly states that Michael’s siblings are entitled to none of his money.

Janet Taping An Altercation With Paris

Damn, who knew that Janet was a little crazy too?! The video of the pop star getting into a fight with her niece, Paris, then pulling out her camera phone to tape the altercation was heartbreaking. All these years the world thought that Janet was too amazing, and too rich to care about the trials and tribulations of her family members, and now we’re finding out that she’s just as much along for the ride as Rebbie!

How sad.

Too Much Twitter Access

The entire Jackson family needs to get off Twitter—as soon as possible. For one, Twitter is a social networking site, not a diary, for another, conflicting stories are just making everyone look crazy. Paris kicked things off by announcing that her family was out of their minds, then apologized. Next she tweeted that her grandmother was missing, then apologized. Over the last week the poor teenager has been using the site as her only form of communication, and now her big brother has gotten in on the action. 15-year-old Prince emerged in support of his sister’s claims posting a lengthy statement about being “hurt” and “angry” over the situation with his grandmother, accompanied by a photo of a text message he sent to his family demanding to speak with Katherine.

Randy, Tito, Marlon and any other Jackson with Internet access, have also taken to Twitter to share their takes on the discrepancy.

The madness has to stop.

(Still) Allowing Jermaine Jackson To Rock Plastic Hair

Oh you didn’t think we were going to let him off scot-free did you? Jermaine’s hair is made of either plastic or the same titanium used by NASA space crafts, coupled with a glossy overcoat. Seriously, what grown man walks around with shellacked hair? The decision not only proves that he is not of sound body and mind, but that his family doesn’t love him enough to force him to wash his hair and go to a barber.

Do better Jackson family, we’re begging you.
