With the return of Love & HipHop last night on VH1, it’s getting harder and harder to believe how a show without much love or Hip-Hop has this much staying power. Regardless of how you may feel about the monster that Mona Scott-Young has created, the show has generated a cultural impact for better or worse.

But don’t fret, lovebirds. There is such thing as love & Hip-Hop in real life and it has nothing (okay, very little) to do with reality show cameras. Whether they are a ride or die and stuck it out for the long run, an excellent piece of arm candy, or just a maybe they are-maybe they aren’t type of couple; check out some of Hip-Hop’s flyest Wives and Girlfriends.

24. Sherlita Patton (Married To Big Boi)

Sherlita and Antwan “Big Boi” Patton have been going strong for a while now and has two children together, daughter Jordan and son Cross.

23. “Queenie” Freeman (Married To Bun B)

Uncle Bun’s lovely wife, “Queenie,” wears the crown for the Trill O.G. Watching the interaction between the two on Twitter is better than most of the stuff you’ll ever see on Love & Hip-Hop.

22. Angela Simmons (Linked To Bow Wow)

The daughter of rap royalty, Angela Simmons sure has grown into herself since the awkward days of Run’s House. The beautiful young lady is running her Pastry empire and running and on again/off again/ on again relationship with Bow Wow.

21. Tracee Ellis Ross (Girlfriend to Bu Thiam)

Cuffed up by Def Jam exec/MTV Hip-Hop POV host, Bu Thiam, Girlfriend‘s star Tracee Ellis Ross is rarely seen without her man lately.

20. Kimberly Woodruff (Married To Ice Cube)

Going strong for nearly 20 years, Kimberly Woodruff and Ice Cube and have four children, O’Shea Jr., Darrel, Shareef and Kareema.

19. Kimbella Vanderhee (Girlfriend To Juelz Santana)

Girlfriend to Juelz Santana and mother of his son, Kimbella was known more for her provocative spreads in Men’s magazines and music videos before hitting the small screen on the second season of Love & Hip-Hop.

18. Emily Bustamante (Linked To Fabolous)

Another Love & Hip-Hop alumnus, Emily B has held Fabolous down as the mother of his children despite not being married to each other. The two have been seen together more lately because of the show, but there still no sign of marriage on the horizon.

17. Blac Chyna (Girlfriend To Tyga)

Tyga told Chyna it was worth the flight to King of Diamonds and meant it. The famous exotic dancer from the even more famous strip club in Miami has found love in the YMCMB star.

16. Chrissy Lampkin (Engaged to Jim Jones)

Chrissy Lampkin finally got her ring on the season finale of Love & Hip-Hop last year. Does this mean we are going to see a kinder, gentler Jimmy Jones in the future? Don’t be on it, kid.

15. Nomi Leasure (Girlfriend to Mac Miller)

Mac Miller’s beautiful lady friend, Nomi Leasure, gets tumblr’s poppin’ with the puppy love pics that they’ve shared over the past years.

14. Karrueche Tran (Girlfriend To Chris Brown)

Just for having the deal with the vicious Rihanna Navy, Karrueche lands on this list. The pint size beauty has had to fend off rumors of reconciliation between her man and Rihanna and the thirstiest of bloggers at the same damn time.

13. Jhene Aiko (Linked To Big Sean)

Rumors have circulated that these two are an item, but Jhene is too good looking to pass her up on this list. The beautiful songstress has made waves of her own Sailing Souls, and has built a cult fan base of her own through it.

12. Nebby (Linked to Drake)

Although they are no longer together, Drake’s muse Nebby has been the inspiration behind some of Drake’s biggest/simpiest songs like “Best I Ever Had,” and “Look What You’ve Done.”

11. Jordin Sparks (Girlfriend To Jason Derulo)

Sure, Jason Derulo isn’t really Hip-Hop, but who cares? Have you seen Jordin Sparks lately? Lord, have mercy for the former American Idol winner. She was cute even as a promise ring-toting big girl, but since she dropped the weight she’s been a full blown knockout.

10.  Cassie (Girlfriend To Diddy)

Girlfriend? Jump off? Kept? Doesn’t matter to Cassie. She’s living good just off of looking good and (kind of) holding a decent note to dope instrumentals. Diddy sure knows how to pick them, I wonder how Ryan Leslie feels?

9. Eudoxie (Girlfriend To Ludacris)

Ludacris’ latest love interest has been stealing headlines from her famous man as of late. It seems that every time Ludacris is out, people want to say “Oh wow, that’s Ludacris…but who is that woman she’s with?” Well, that is Eudoxie and yes, she is fine as hell.

8. LaLa Anthony (Married to Carmelo Anthony)

She’s made a name for herself as one of MTV’s go-to hosts and voices for all things Hip-Hop and entertainment, but like a fine wine Lala has gotten sexier with age. Married with children to the star of the New York Knicks, Lala’s Full Court Life on VH-1 serves as the one true show on the channel with a basketball and hip-hop wife.

7. Coco (Married To Ice T)

Keep it real, when you first saw Ice T and Coco together you thought Ice was just her pimp, right? Well sucks for you, because that Pimp just said hello to 10 years of marriage  on New Year’s Eve to the voluptuous Nicole “Coco” Austin.

6. Alicia Keys (Married to Swizz Beatz)

Is she a homewrecker? Possibly. But it is really, really hard to say no to Alicia Keys no matter who you are. The proverbial round the way girl, with the once-in-a-generation talent was the prototype of wifeys to many a man. Count this as another of Swizz many epic life wins.

5. Paula Patton (Married to Robin Thicke)

The stunning Paula Patton has been married to Robin Thicke since 2005. The lovely actress who starred in such movies as Precious, Just Wright and Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, is hands down one of the flyest women alive. Her smooth crooning husband famously courted her throughout high school, college and into adulthood.

4. Amber Rose (Engaged to Wiz Khalifa)

Call us crazy, but we love these two together. At first Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa’s romance had sham written all over it, but the more we saw them together (and the more we actually got to hear Amber speak) it was evident that this was real. Real enough to get engaged. Let’s hope these two stick it out for the long run.

3. Kim Kardashian (Girlfriend to Kanye West)

Okay, so technically she’s still married to Kris Humphries. She’s also been linked to a ton of other musicians, athletes, and celebrities in the past. But jeez louise, Kim Kardashian is a stone cold fox. Bar none. Despite what you may think about her, Kim K. is one of the most gorgeous women walking, and Yeezy is teaching her well.

2. Beyonce (Married to Jay-Z)

Everybody wants that Jay-Z and Beyonce relationship. They started as friends, dated, got married and then had kids. All the while becoming multi-millionaire, culture leading icons in their respective fields. No big deal.

1. Jada Pinkett-Smith (Married to Will Smith)

This is what we call, the prototype ladies and gentlemen. The relationship between Will and Jada is so strong, they’ve become an adjective to describe black love. Even when rumors of their split were at a fever pitch, the two seem to keep going stronger than ever. However they make it work, they’ve been married since 1997 and with two mega talented children that have come from their union (Jaden and Willow) Will and Jada’s relationship is Hip-Hop storybook.
