5 Reasons Why Blue Ivy Carter Will Have A Better Rap Career Than Lil B

We’re not here to throw stones, but the issue behind Lil B’s refusal to stop releasing new music is starting to get out of hand.  The Bay Area rapper has tried every tactic possible to be taken seriously in the rap world, but to no avail. Even naming his debut album, I’m Gay, and being invited to speak at New York University, couldn’t trick [most of] the public into responding to his alleged musical movement. Although we appreciate his tedious attempts at showcasing some form of lyrical talent, B’s latest release   “3 Stacks,” off his Welcome to Based World mixtape took things to a new low. Aside from shooting the music video in a sauna , the record—set behind Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On”—is cringe-worthy at best. So when thinking of which upcoming artist would be a potential opponent, we decided to weigh B’s career up against that of Hip-Hop’s crowned princess: Blue Ivy Carter. She’s not even six months old yet, but if–and when—BIC starts taking a serious shot at music, you can bet that she’ll have a better run than Lil B.

Here are five reasons why BIC will have a better rap career than Lil B.

She already broke Billboard records.

Blue Ivy was made for the music game. Upon entering the world earlier this year, Jay’s and Beyonce’s baby girl’s cry made its way onto her dad’s “Glory,” track. The musical show of affection landed on the Billboard charts, making Blue the youngest artist to place on the charts. In comparison, Lil B’s I’m Gay sold under 2,000 copies in its first week.

She’s more talented.

We’ve only heard her cries,but they were better than any and every record Lil B has released. As harsh as it sounds, BIC not being able to speak puts hear head and shoulders above Lil B’s music. He might want to look into getting musical advice from Jay’s daughter, or just throwing in the towel all together.

Jay-Z is her dad.

Having the biggest name in Hip-Hop as your father will not only make Blue the most envied up-and-coming artist in the game, but will give her the opportunity to learn from her father. Since he gave us the “blueprint,” he’s probably already putting together a lesson plan filled with extra details just for his daughter.

She dresses better.

Lil B has a love for tiny baby-tees, yet Blue Ivy (whose an actually baby and could therefore get away with said fashion choices), is routinely cloaked in the best blankets money can buy. We haven’t really seen many of her outfit choices, but both her parents run clothing lines, so we can already conclude that her fashion options will trump Lil B any day of the week.

She has the support of Hip-Hop.

Let’s face it, the Based God is the game’s little engine that couldn’t. Every time he drops a new track, we (begrudgingly) give it a listen, but Lil B’s entry into Hip-Hop history will likely go down as a storied attempt at stardom, that should’ve been abandoned a long time ago. On the flip side, based on her status alone, Hip-Hop is more apt to support anything that comes out of BIC’s camp.
