We’re posting this for no other reason than because that photograph of the Black actor dressed in the Xenomorph costume with a “What are you looking at?” look on his face is hilarious. The Xenomorph is the proper name of the now iconic “alien” first seen in Ridley Scott’s classic Alien and its many sequels and offshoot flicks.
According to IMDB, the soul brother in the alien suit is Bolaji Bodeja, a Nigerian born, 7′ 2″ tall design student Scott spotted in a bar. Peep more pics from the set of the original Alien in the gallery. Consider this an early, unheralded win in sci-fi civil rights. Shout out to Yaphet Kotto, too.
