Diddy Sued For $1 Trillion Over Child Support, Accused of Causing 9/11
Last February, Valerie Turks came forward with some startling revelations. According to the 41-year-old woman, Diddy, along with his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter and police azz-whoopin’ poster boy Rodney King, had caused the collapse of the Twin Towers on 9/11. And that was just for starters. Turks also alleged that she and the mogul had a 23-year-old son together and said that Puff and Porter would r@pe her and do physical harm to her children. Then, there is this statement. “I won a lot of money at the casino in Mississippi and Sean P. Combs has my chip to my money…it’s well worth over 100 zillions of dollars, and my hospital keys.” The women sought to get a restraining order against Puff and filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy CEO for the entire US Budget, $1 Trillion ($900 billion, child support and $100 billion for loss of wages). Take that?
Rapper Who Made “Waffle House” Song Gets Served Legal Papers, From Waffle House
There’s nothing like taking your time to pen a heartfelt song showing love to your favorite late night hang out spot, then finding out the establishment you were bigging up said, “Fawk your dreams, ni**a.” That is exactly what happened to Florida rapper J. Bricks shortly after his song “Waffle House” went viral last summer. Waffle House Inc. sent the rapper a cease and desist letter demanding that he change the name of the song and stop using the restaurant’s logo. Bricks offered to alter the title to “WaffleHause (After the Party),” but the WF brass denied his request. Probably sending him a response letter that read something like this:
“N#gg@ Please!”
He finally re-issued the song as just, “After the Party.”
Lil Wayne Sued For Sleeping Through Concert Performance
In September 2008, Red City Entertainment claims it fronted Lil Wayne $210,000 to perform at a Bahamas concert. But when it came time for Wayne to light up the stage, he was nowhere to be found. When he didn’t show up for the gig, reports say authorities found the YM head passed out drunk in his hotel room. Weezy recently denied falling asleep on the job and said he didn’t show up because the concert was cancelled, though he can’t recollect why. Hmmm. Maybe because he was passed out drunk? Red City is seeking $432,000 for the money paid, hotel, travel and losses from the failed concert.
Trey Songz Breaks Bad And Is Sued Over “Yuup”
Late last year, apparently Trey Songz was stuck at home watching a Storage Wars marathon when he heard something that got him hot under the collar. Storage Wars star David “The Mogul” Hester’s “Yup” sounded a little close to his signature “Yup,” so Trey had his legal team take action. The singer’s lawyers sent Hester a cease and desist letter demanding that he stop using a phrase that has probably been used since man started making recognizable sound. As a result, Hester filed a suit with Songz claiming that the two “Yuups” were different saying Trey’s was more of a “non-human squeal.”
Pitbull Sued By Lindsay Lohan For Doing What 53 Other People Have Already Done
Lindsay Lo has been the butt of jokes for rappers and comedians alike for years now, but for some reason when Latin rapper Pitbull mentioned that she had been to pokey on the 2011 track “Give Me Everything,” she went off, suing Pit for defamation. So what was the morally distasteful, public perception altering line that got Lindsay’s panties all in a bunch? “I got locked up like Lindsay Lohan.” Yep, of all the things that have been said about her in the past, stating the fact that the oft-arrested actress did a brief bid is what got Lohan to bring a lawsuit. Maybe she had been talking to MC Hammer. Pitbull filed a countersuit last November.
T.I. Sued For Showing Kids A Corpse
Y’all want to see a dead body? The family of Joseph Williams sure didn’t. When T.I. showed a group of troubled youth Williams’ dead body for his scared-straight style reality show, Road To Redemption, the family of the deceased filed a lawsuit claiming that Tip showed their loved one’s corpse for “financial gain and publicity.” Even though the face was blurred out, the family claimed the footage left them mentally distressed and sought a settlement for an undisclosed amount in 2011.
Flo Rida Sued For Paying Assistant Couch Cushion Change
Flo Rida is known for his hit single “Low,” but according to a former assistant, he applies the same logic when it comes to paying his employees. In February, a woman named Mahogany Miller accused the Florida Pop/Rap star of paying her less than sweep up hair at the barbershop money to be his administrative assistant; a whopping $3.08 an hour. Miller claimed that after she raised a fuss about her slave wages she was given her walking papers. She is suing for unspecified damages.
Jay-Z Sued Over Hand Gesture
A lot of entities hold their hand symbols dear to them. Sororities, the deaf, street gangs, the boy scouts, and apparently professional wrestlers. In 2005, former WCW wrestler “Diamond” Dallas Page sued Jay-Z because the Roc symbol he throws up is eerily similar to Page’s “Diamond Cutter” sign. Page claimed he had been using the symbol since the ‘90s and that Jay-Z’s use of the same sign was confusing fans. In 2007, Hov settled with Page coughing up a monetary fee to the wrestler. Maybe the Bloods street gang will start suing basketball players when they throw up the trey sign.
50 Cent Sued For $35M By Most Suing Man In The World
Jonathan Lee Riches has way too much time on his hands. The South Carolina inmate has filed over 1,000 lawsuits against celebrities including Mike Vick, George Bush and Martha Stewart. In September 2007, he sued 50 Cent for $35 million claiming that the rapper stole his lyrics and forced him to harass ‘80s groups Bananarama and Tears For Fears. Wait, what? You read right. If you don’t be careful, he’ll sue your azz too.
Eminem Sued For $9M By Homeless Man
In January, Em was sued by a homeless man who according to the transient, is bosom buddies with Christina Aguilera. Stephen Lee Pieck, who filed a handwritten lawsuit in January that listed his address as “homeless,” claims he was chopping it up in a restaurant with Aguilera in September 2010 when she called Em on the phone. Pieck said he then gave the Detroit rapper the entire idea for his award-winning Chrysler “Born On Fire” commercial. Now he needs his paper. And is suing to the tune of $9Ms. Hey buddy, lose yourself.
