While some celebrities are known for staying out of headlines with their squeaky clean images and good manners, a select few have been in the news for alleged throw-downs.
While some have admitted that they let their temper get the best of them and are awaiting consequences for their actions, others are still in denial and denying any wrongdoing.
So who’s been accused of knuckling up?

Teyana Taylor
The most recent female celebrity accused of a smackdown is Teyana Taylor. The singer and reported G.O.O.D. music signee is reportedly wanted by police for punching and kicking a girl who made a snide comment about her good friend Chris Brown.
TMZ reports,
“The singer, formerly signed to Pharrell’s Star Trak record label, assaulted a woman at a Burbank, CA recording studio Saturday (April 9) after Taylor apparently took offense to comments the woman made about friend Chris Brown.”
Brown and Taylor are said to be thick as thieves and like brother and sister.
Jessica White
In 2010 a woman came forward accusing model Jessica White of slapping and punching her over a New York city taxi.
White quickly denied starting the altercation however and said she was simply trying to defend herself.
“I never denied getting into an altercation, but people painted me to be the bad girl, which was 110 percent false.[…]I was flagging a cab, and she came from behind me and pushed me.[…]I didn’t strike her until she hit me in the face. I don’t lash out at innocent people.”
Naomi Campbell
Model Naomi Campbell is legendary for her temper and has been the subject of scrutiny for several acts of violence.
In 2000 Campbell is said to have pled guilty to assaulting her assistant, in 2005 she was cited for allegedly slapping and hitting another assistant with a Blackberry and in 2006 was arrested for assaulting a housekeeper.
That wasn’t it for the statuesque beauty however, in 2008 she was arrested for suspicion of striking a police officer.
Nikki Blonsky/ Bianca Golden
‘Hairspray’ star Nikki Blonksy was arrested in 2008 for battling it out in airport with America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden.
Blonsky and her father were arrested on assault charges after a reported altercation with Golden and her mother in a Carribean airport that left Elaine Golden hospitalized with serious injuries.
People Magazine reported on the incident saying,
“Nikki Blonsky was charged with assault with actual bodily harm, which carries a maximum sentence of two years, and common assault, also known as threat of assault, with a 90-day maximum term.
Her father Carl was charged with grevious bodily harm, meaning the victim was injured so severely they needed immediate medical care.
The charge carries a five-year maximum sentence. Carl will remain in jail for nine days until a hearing is set on his bail, police say.
Bianca Golden was charged with assault with actual bodily harm.”
Golden later reported that the up and coming actress called her a n*gger and kicked her mother in the vagina after her father punched her in the face.
Da Brat
In 2007 Atlanta rapper Da Brat was convicted of striking a woman with a bottle of rum in 2007 at Jermaine Dupri’s Studio 72 nightclub and sent to prison in Alto, Georgia.
Before that, the sister of Lisa Raye pleaded guilty to misdemeanor reckless conduct after she reportedly beat a woman with a gun during a dispute over VIP seating in a Buckhead, Georgia, nightclub in 2000. The victim in that incident received six stitches for a head wound and Da Brat was placed on probation.
Since her release from jail, Brat-a-tat has been released and is said to have cleaned up her image.
Gloria James
Lebron James’ mother made headlines in 2011 after being arrested for assaulting a parking valet. As previously reported Gloria James was taken into police custody in early April at Miami’s Fontainebleau Hotel.
Police say James attempted to hit a parking valet with her purse but missed and slapped him in the face instead.
Footage of the incident has since been released that appears to show the attendant being the aggressor and pushing James to the ground.
The valet has threatened to sue.
