The rapper was first linked to Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson after the 2010 BET Awards when they were seen together backstage before once again being spotted together in Vancouver.
Drake denied reports that they were dating however, (jokingly) saying that he’d been spotted with an older cousin who just “looked like her.”

In 2010 Drake released “Paris Morton Music”, an addition to his verse on Rick Ross hit “Aston Martin Music” dedicated to the model.

Before becoming an international rap sensation Drake was said to be dating singer Keshia Chanté.
On a track titled “Decieving” he rapped,
“What up Tessa, I love you like my own mama, And your daughter’s getting grown, mama , And me, I’m just here working, waiting, patient for her to be ready to love and leave alone drama.”
Tessa is reportedly the name of the singer’s mother.
