Chris Brown could use a friend, unfortunately the only person that he thinks he can relate to has been dead for 15 years.

After deleting his Twitter account and having to deal with more negative headlines rehashing his assault on Rihanna, Brown went on Instagram to unleash his feelings.

Posting a photo of the late great rap legend, Tupac Shakur, Brown wrote “That awkward moment when the only person you can relate to in the world is dead.”

Relating to Pac is far-fetched, but we get where he was going with it. Pac wasn’t always the friendliest and didn’t really care what anybody had to say about his actions.  On the contrary, Brown has apologized for physically attacking his ex nearly four years ago (which was a noble move, by the way), yet he still can’t shake the negative press.

Of course both men share some physical similarities (tattoos, wearing a nose ring, etc.), but in doing a little more research we found 10 reasons why Brown shouldn’t compare his story to Pac.

Read them below.

He’s Still Alive

Not being dead is a pretty good reason why he can’t relate to Pac. Life is precious.

He’s Not A Rapper

He dabbles, but singing is more his lane.

He’s Never Been Shot

When Tupac said “thug life,” he meant it

He Hasn’t Done Time

Brown turned himself in to authorities after that situation with Rihanna, but he’s never done real jail time.

He Has No Affiliation To The Black Panther Party

Tupac was surrounded by strong leaders, which seeped into his lyrical content. Brown doesn’t come off as the type to take interest in sociopolitical issues.

His Music Isn’t Legendary

Pac’s music stands the test of time. Brown has some hits, but he has a ways to go.

He Has No Hood Credibility

He’s a wild one, but throwing chairs and destroying a dressing room doesn’t mean he’s really “’bout that life.”

He’s Not In The Guinness Book Of World Records

According to the Guinness Book Of World Records, Tupac is the most successful rapper of all time. Breezy’s biggest record-breaking moment was performing for a big crowd at the TODAY show.

He Can’t Act

He’s trying but Brown’s acting isn’t good. Pac studied acting as a youngster, and thought of becoming an actor before a rapper.

He’s Never Been A Hologram

You’re nothing in this game until your image is digitally transmitted onto a stage in front of your fans.
