The s#x tape/nude pic is the new mixtape. Need a buzz? Leak a video or picture of you getting your rocks off and watch the attention elevate. Don’t have one to leak, and the thirsty public will create one for you.
In the past, several rappers have been caught with their pants down, literally, having their “home” videos leaked to the public. Some of them were disclosed by the artists themselves, some by sneaky ex-lovers and others were made up all together.
Here are 10 rappers who got caught up when their most intimate moments were posted on the Internets for all to see. Whether they were real or not.
Clicks the #’s below to see who made the list.
Tupac
Just when you thought after 15 years and 6,431 new songs that Tupac Shakur had run out of material to shock the public, out of nowhere comes “Keep Your Head Up II,” err, the Tupac S#x Tape. Last year, a 20-year-old tape that pictured the late rapper getting lip serviced while smoking and drinking at a house party surfaced. After legal threats from the rapper’s family, the footage was eventually sold by the owner to a private collector. Who in their right mind would want a flick of Pac for their private collection? Lord knows.
Eve
In 2005, some grainy VHS video surfaced of Eve and her ex boyfriend, um, toying around. No Jeffrey the giraffe. The short clip – dated November 20, 1999 – didn’t include any Ruff Rydin’ but clearly shows the totally nude rapper and her ex having grown folks fun with a plastic replica. Eve later called the tape a “private moment” and said the release of it was a “violation.”
Yung Berg
What do you do when your career has tanked and you are known more for getting slapped and robbed than making music? Pray to the based god that someone leaks a s*x tape with you in it so people can utter your name. In early 2010, young Victim-mone Jr. (aka Yung Berg), felt the scorn of former GF Jenna Shea when she leaked a video on the Internet of the two getting it in. Nobody cared, but it is probably the best thing to happen to Berg in a while. Victory!
Nicki Minaj
In December 2010, MediaTakeout reported that they had screened a private video of Nicki Minaj letting someone run up in that Pink Friday. They even alleged that the owner was looking for $100,000 for the clip, and posted still shots of the vid on their site. Since the tape has yet to leak, we’ll just assume that it was fake…or the tape’s owner was snatched up by the Illuminati and is currently sleeping with the fishes.
J. Cole
Last August, Hustler Magazine reported that they had in their possession a s#x tape that involved pop star Rihanna and Roc Nation rapper J. Cole. Ri Ri denied giving up the “Oh Na Na” on tape, as did Cole. Hustler stood by their claims but have yet to release the footage. Reason being… [See Nicki Minaj]
Nate Dogg
In February 2012, it was reported that the late Hip-Hop crooner had an X-rated video that is being shopped around for major paper. Worse yet, the release of the tape may be due to the rapper’s estate being in need of some desperate he-e-ee-ee-lp. Nate is reportedly still on the hook for thousands of dollars in medical bills. Someone, please, regulate.

Foxy Brown
In 2009, an internet video surfaced entitled “Foxy Brown Superhead” which allegedly captured a scraggly-haired Fox boog showing what that mouth do. Maino later took to Twitter to clown Chyna Doll, saying he predicted Fox would get caught on tape giving up the Ill Na Na, that year.
Mystikal
Everyone knows James Brown-voiced rapper spent six years in the bing for allegedly forcing a woman to give up the goods. But rumor has it Mystikal caught the ire of the judge for dropping a Adult Videos video that featured adult star Jada Fire right before he went it.
50 Cent
In February 2010, Fif was sued for posting a homemade f#ck film of Rick Ross’ baby mother and an unnamed man on his website, thisis50. The Queens rapper did so while embroiled in a beef with the burly Florida MC. He even provided narration for the clip, using his alter ego, Pimpin’ Curly.
Bow Wow
Wow, Bow. In May 2010, MediaTakeout reported the existence of a homemade Adult Videos video that involved some dude on dude action and said that one of the dudes was a popular rapper. They posted a still frame from the alleged flick and one of the cats in the video had a striking resemblance to Bow Wow. Of course, the full video never surfaced, and the Cash Money rapper denied it was him in the picture taking it in the dookie chute.
