Ever since stepping into the game, Trick Daddy has made it clear that he’s been thuggin’ and will continue to thug it until the Lord calls his number. Even after admitting that he likes to get it like he gives it and have his salad tossed by women like they vegans, Trick remains true to that thug life and keeps on being that wild man from Miami with no hairs on his tongue (pun intended?).
Seemingly on a mission to get himself canceled before lunch, Trick stopped by The Breakfast Club to touch all the social-political third rails much to the astonishment and laughter of Charlamange Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy. From his thoughts on the gay community to his controversial comments about Beyonce, Trick isn’t apologizing for any of his views but hopes everyone understands where he’s coming from. Regardless how y’all feel it was some pretty hilarious explinations and justifications.
Here are the 6 things we learned from Trick Daddy on The Breakfast Club.
Trick says he considers himself the “number 1” lyricist from the South but “tied with Scarface.” Scarface doesn’t get enough props for his talent and body of work. Just sayin.’
Trick Daddy says he once caught gonorrhea while messing around with two women. Interestingly enough he revealed that back then in Miami if you told health officials who you might’ve gotten a VD from or gave it to, they’d run up on them at their school and pick them up. Word?!
Trick admits that he doesn’t agree with same-sex couples being able to adopt babies and also doesn’t agree with the anti-abortion bill as some people aren’t fit to be parents. “I think women and men should be evaluated before they be able to even have a baby.”
Though he doesn’t agree with same-sex couples adopting babies, Trick says he isn’t homophobic and reveals that he has family members who are gay and the general manager of his restaurant is also gay. Trick feels that “People that are homophobic, I believe that they believe in their heart that they have gay tendencies.”
Trick says that his mother has 11 children with 10 baby daddies. That’s next level, but we ain’t judging no one on this side.
Referencing some comments made by Wack 100 on Clubhouse not too long ago in which he said he was going to “expose” Trick Daddy, Trick says Wack is “going to get you and your family hurt” and that he can’t be exposed. “There’s nothing about me private,” Trick said. “You can’t expose nothing real… Wack, youse a manager to a rat. Youse a troll that makes money off the internet. You can’t expose me. All you can do is get me locked up until I bond out.” Tell them how you really feel, son!
Speaking on his “ex-wife,” Trick says that even with a divorce party behind him, he’s not divorced until she stops using his name. That being said he also feels he has to start “evaluating” the dudes she’s messing with because they his “boyfriend-in-law” and he’s their “husband-in-law” and they need to take care of his wife.
Clearing up his comments about “Beyonce can’t sing,” Trick says she’s a great entertainer, but feels she’s not on the same level as Whitney Houston, Adele, Stephanie Mills, etc. That’s all he was saying as he acknowledges Bey’s greatness and loves and respects her. That being said, he says he doesn’t think Kevin Hart or Katt Williams are funny. “The only time I thought Katt Williams was funny was when that 14-year-old had him in a chokehold.”
