Thirty years in any business is something worthy of a celebration, and that’s just what Def Jam plans to do. Today, the label announces an anniversary concert of epic proportions.

The present day iteration of Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin’s masterful creation will invade Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on October 16, during a show that will bridge the gap between generations of Def Jam artists. Performers will include veteran acts like EPMD, DMX, Foxy Brown, Method Man, Redman, and Ja Rule, as well as well as currently popular rappers like Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, and Fabolous.

More acts will be announced.

Tickets will be available for pre-sale on Wednesday, August 20. See the current life up below.
